All you need to look at the headlines to see what your future may hold, and it is not pretty. Corporate bankruptcies that wipe out employee pension funds if the CEO is not only to keep his job but are paid a million, a lot of homework in the first half of the year just to pay their tax bills, a bleak future for social security, which at best could force many Americans to work until age 70, if it exists, and recent reports that the personal savings for 2006 fell to its lowest level in 74 years.
